What type of Actuators do Force Actuators produce?

Force Actuators Pvt Ltd specializes in manufacturing of Hydraulic actuators used in medical and Healthcare industry.

These actuator are manually operated by foot.

There are two types of manually operated actuators being manufactured at the facility.

FK-Series

ST-Series

What is FK Series?

These are manually foot operated hydraulic actuators used in various types medical furniture where height adjustment is required.

Single actuator is installed on the chassis

Models we provide in FK series

  • Fk-5
  • Fk-200
  • Fk-250
  • Fk-300
What is ST Series?

These are manually foot operated hydraulic actuators used in various types medical furniture where height & position adjustments are required.

Two actuators are installed on the chassis

Models we provide in ST series

  • ST 270
  • ST 300
What tests do the actuators manufactuared go through?

There are 4 series of quality checks that each and every actuators have to pass,

1.  Load testing

Every single actuator is tested for 150 cycles with a load of 424 Kgs on a specialized testing rig developed by us. Both series FK series and ST series undergo this load testing procedure

2. Sound testing

It is important to us that there is no sound generated from the actuators at the time of operation.

Actuators are assembled in their respective trolleys and operated back and forth with and without load.

Both series FK series and ST series undergo this load testing procedure

3. Return time Testing

It is necessary for an actuator to return down at a controlled speed with full load, higher return speed can cause discomfort to the patients and weaken the mechanism of the bed or trolley overtime due to repetitive shocks produced from it. Lower return speeds then the ones we provide can be the difference between life and death when the patient needs to be transferred from one type of bed to the other.

A tailor made rig for return time testing is used and an inspector inspect the timing of each actuator if found in the permissible return time limits then he authorizes for next process or else rejects it.

This return time testing is limited to FK series only, because ST series undergoes altogether a different type of testing.

Stretcher actuators require a different type of testing equipment, since stretcher actuators are used in pairs it is critically important for the both the installed actuators to have a synchronized timing when going up and returning down.

We have designed and developed a testing machine which graphs out the timing of actuator when lifting full load from first stroke to the last and then returning back to its original position.
